Refund policy
Asylum Seekers Centre is committed to providing quality products to our customers. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason with any product we will happily exchange or replace the returned item or refund your money (at your choice).
If your item is faulty as delivered to you, the ASC will replace or refund your item (at your choice).
For change-of-mind returns, you have 28 days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging and you will need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Please email ascshop@asylumseekerscentre.org.au within 28 days of receiving your products so we can issue your refund or exchange.
In your email please include the following details for a timely return:
- Name
- Your order number
- The name of the product you would like to return
- Proof of purchase
- A brief outline of why you are returning the product.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item is being returned because it is faulty. If a replacement or alternative item is sent to you, you will be responsible for the shipping costs unless ASC is replacing a faulty item which you have returned.
Our charges for shipping the item to you in the first place are also non refundable.
Please return the unwanted item in its original condition along with a copy of the receipt and a brief note informing us of the reason you are returning the item and instructing us what action you would like us to take to:
