It’s a Life was inspired by spending time at the Asylum Seekers Centre (ASC).
“I made some vector illustrations about how the life inside the ASC. It's one place that ‘make a life’, different people enjoying many activities in their journey to start a new life. I want to add a quote about that in the design like ‘It's a life’.”
There are four unique designs:
- Woman sewing as part of our sewing group program
- A person studying
- A person using a donated laptop to connect them to study, work and/or their family, friends and community
- A volunteer cooking lunch
The back of each card has more information about the programs and services at ASC and a quote from Hind.
